Newburgh Engineering have allowed the group to dig a number of trial pits on their land, between the existing factory complex and the brook. A full report is available and will be provided to members of the group at the next meeting.
Some of the trial pits (mainly around the edge of the site) remained dry, while others quickly filled with water. We will keep an eye on several of the pits over the winter to see how water levels change..JPG)
