The orchard was open to visitors yesterday as part of the annual Bradwell Open Gardens event.
Although we had removed the blossom from most of the trees in their first year, one of the trees kindly donated by Pluscarden Abbey nevertheless has a fair amount of fruit on it.
Further up the field, the harebells were a delight on the eye.
