The Co-operative Community Fund have very generously awarded the orchard £1,875 in response to a request for funding. This welcome grant will enable us to press ahead with tree planting, both for the main orchard and the shelter belt along Michlow Lane. Part of the award will also go towards rebuilding the dilapidated stone wall along the far side of the site.
