Sunday working party

We shall be having a working party at the orchard site on the second Sunday of each month. Today, we started to clear access to the wall that runs along Michlow Lane. The dry stone wall needs to be rebuilt, and this will start in September. The first task is to clear the old stone that has fallen into the field and to make space for the wallers to work. This project will be led by the National Park with volunteer labour, so if you're interested in learning dry stone walling techniques, here's your opportunity! Thank you to everyone who turned up. We got a some good work done, and many hands really do make light work.
