2010 Gala

The Group were at the Bradwell Gala once again this year with a display that featured the pictures made by the Infants and Junior Schools, along with a raffle and some delicious apple cakes.

We're very grateful to everyone who provided apple or fruit themed items for the raffle. As you can see, we were able to put on a great raffle to raise money for the orchard. In addition to the raffle, we had a "Golden Apple" game using the picture kindly created by the Junior school. Dick brought along a small display about apple pressing and a beam press, which you can see just to the left of the marquee.

The afternoon was very successful, and we'd like to thank everyone who helped. Too numerous to mention by name, but we do appreciate it!
