At the Group's first meeting of 2010, the constitution that had previously been circulated to members was adopted by those present. Whilst it's pretty dull reading, it is important as it will allow us to move forward in various ways - setting up a bank account, applying for grants, owning or leasing land in the fullness of time. Despite the not-very-exciting agenda, 10 stalwarts turned up on a cold January evening and another 11 sent their apologies, so a big thank you to everyone.
In the meantime, Bruce and Ellie have been keeping an eye on the trial pits dug last November on the Newburgh site (see previous entries). One pit is still very waterlogged, one only slightly waterlogged(!), and one, at the edge of the site, remains dry.
