Whilst
others worked and swapped the village gossip at the orchard, Ellie also enjoyed
the warm sunshine outside Dick's workshop, and made lots of ash pegs to hold
the new mulch mats down. We're using ash poles cleared by National Park Rangers
to improve the view at Monsal Head, splitting them into quarters, and
sharpening the ends with a carving axe. There are some more to do, so there
will be a chance to have a go at this another time if you're interested.
