Apple Day was duly marked in Bradwell this year on Sunday 16th October. A big thank you to Simon Layfield for bringing his hydropress along, allowing us to press more apples more effectively.
Beanies in Sheffield also provided a wide variety of apples to sample, for which we were very grateful. Overall, there were 28 different types of apple to sample and plenty of apple juicing went on. Although we'd only given the event fairly low key advertising, there was a steady stream of visitors - and we hope everyone who came along enjoyed their visit.
