Meadow Brown butterfly feeding on Creeping Thistle
Alan did a very skilful job of delivering top stones for the wall with a large tractor and trailer that only just squeezed between the lane walls. A team of six made a chain and lifted the stones down from the trailer into the orchard.
Many more paths were scythed through the orchard. Weeds were removed from the mulch. The map of the orchard was checked and labels attached to trees.
