Staff at the National Park have had so many enquires and requests for help from people wanting to grow orchard fruit and keep bees that they supported a day of talks on the subject. The Farming Life Centre at Blackwell hosted the event and speakers included Chris Wedge from Natural England on the wildlife value of orchards, Julian Brandram on fruit growing, Alan Fairbrother on beekeeping and our own Ellie Dunn giving people an insight into how we in Bradwell have got our orchard project going.
